This Privacy Policy describes how Khamari (“we”, “our”, or “the App”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our farm management application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you sign in, we collect:
- Name and email address (via Google Sign-In or email/password)
- Profile photo (if provided via Google account)
1.2 Farm Data You Provide
All farm records you create are stored in your account and include:
- Livestock records (cattle, sheep, poultry, ducks, fish)
- Crop, horticulture, plantation, fodder, and agroforestry records
- Allied farming records (mushrooms, beekeeping, organic inputs)
- Daily production logs and financial transactions
- Staff records and work logs
- Activity schedules and notes
- Farm photos uploaded by you
1.3 Location Data
The App requests your device’s location only to fetch local weather information (temperature, humidity, rainfall forecast) using the OpenWeatherMap API. Location data is:
- Accessed only when the weather feature is active
- Not stored on our servers
- Used solely to query weather for your farm’s coordinates
1.4 Device & Usage Information
We do not collect analytics, crash reports, or device identifiers beyond what Firebase services collect as part of their standard operation (see Section 4).
2. How We Use Your Information

3. Data Storage & Security
- All farm data is stored in Google Cloud Firestore, protected by Firebase Security Rules that restrict access to authenticated users only.
- Farm photos are stored in Firebase Storage under your account namespace.
- Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections at all times.
- Access to your data is restricted to your authenticated account. Other users cannot access your farm data.
4. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

5. Data Retention
- Your farm data is retained for as long as your account is active.
- You may delete individual records within the App at any time.
- To request deletion of your entire account and all associated data, contact us at the address below.
6. Children’s Privacy
Khamari is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your account and associated data
- Export your farm records
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details in Section 9.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
